Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes:
The Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage will travel to Lourdes this September 7-12th. There are still places available. We encourage parishes to nominate sick people in the community, especially people who have not travelled before on the section for the sick. Application forms are available on request from the Lourdes Pilgrimage Office Tel: 8376820. You can also become an associate member helping to send a sick person to Lourdes by enrolling after any of the Masses, in the Church Porch.
Our thanks to the ladies who clean the Church every Friday evening. They have made a special effort recently to clean the walls over the radiators. Deeply appreciated.
We are always looking for new persons to help care for the Church. Please share a little time and energy for the glory of God!
Legion of Mary

Drinking & Driving
I would like to share an experience with you, about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many pints and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home.
Sure enough I passed a police road block but as it was a bus, they waved us past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I found it !!
Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Brian Cramp Upper Albert Rd. May he rest in peace.
