Feast of Pentecost “Come Holy Spirit and fill the hearts of your faithful people”. As never before we members of the Catholic Church need and we welcome the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. There is great confusion today among Catholics as to which beliefs are fundamental to Catholicism and which are not. One such concept is moral relativism which leads to a very widespread individualism. This is the single biggest challenge facing the Church in the West at this time. It makes it virtually impossible to teach that there are objective moral truths by which we are all bound.
“Spirit of God enkindle in us the fire of your love “

The parish says thank you for last Sunday’s offerings Priests €1,359 and Share €907.

Dear Parishioners, we have been informed that part of our Church Organ is infested with woodworm and requires immediate attention. This organ is a parish treasure. We have engaged an expert to carry out this work during the summer months when the choir is on holidays. It will cost us €12,000  plus Vat. 13.5% We will be grateful for whatever help you may be able to give us. Please contact Fr. Kennedy or Fr. Farrell.

Two Hippies and a Priest:
Two dirty hippies were walking down the street and stopped at a red light. A Catholic priest with his arm in a cast was waiting to cross."Hey, man," asked one, "what happened?" "I fell in the bathtub and broke my arm," replied the priest. One hippie turned to the other and asked, "What's a bathtub?" The other replied, "How do I know, I'm not a Catholic."!
